The beginning of something great…we hope and pray! 😀

Years ago when reading to my children, and now today with my grandkids, I still realize there is a great need for better and more interesting books that possess excellent artwork and an entertaining storyline, while still promoting good morals and character. That is the foundation for bopbooks.

So, I put down those books and started telling stories to my kids that excited them and also gave them the chance to learn something valuable.

Over the years, I decided to write some of these stories down (and still have the original scribbles 30-years later!)

As time went on, I decided it would be fun to get some amazing local artists to add their awesome touches to help bring the stories alive. Local artist, Leo Kelly, and I have been working together for decades and we have now added some other great local artists to the mix.

From there, I figured it would be fun to get these stories made into real, bound books (before grandkids came along…and there they came!)

Just recently, it seemed like it might be time to take a step out and share these books with others in hopes that the good morals could also be of use for other kids and families. Our hope is that some of the proceeds could help kids and families who are in need to have some new books and other much needed resources.

And that’s where we’re at today – taking a step forward to share these books so that kids and families can thrive.

The “bop” of bopbooks stands for ‘Be On Purpose’– my oldest granddaughter Lily couldn’t say ‘Pops’ and it came out ‘Bop’ a few years back and it has stuck ever since.

We’re going to strive to use local artists and print locally in small batches. We are very excited to offer this Buy One, Give One initial special!

We will donate a book to local organizations in need for every purchase made!

Thank you for helping us spread ‘the word’, supporting our next generation, and believing
in healthy habits, behaviors, and values for our kids!
